Great Print Quality

The SL1S features a 5.96'' monochrome LCD with a physical resolution of 2560×1620p. Taking advantage of the completely reworked optics and the new monochrome display technology, the SL1S offers vastly improved print quality compared to its predecessor.

Tilting mechanism

Tilting the resin vat is one of the key features of the SL1S SPEED and provides significant added value compared to the competition. After each layer is cured, the entire display with the vat tilts, allowing for gentler detachment of the model from the FEP film, continuous resin mixing in the vat, and most importantly, much faster printing.

Resin Calibration

While PrusaSlicer includes an extensive, in-house tested database of resin profiles, our Resin Calibration feature empowers you to easily fine-tune settings for any third-party resin. In just a single print, you can efficiently test up to eight calibration objects, each with varying exposure times. Simply choose the object with the best result, and those ideal settings are instantly transferred to your new resin profile. This streamlined process ensures you achieve exceptional print quality and performance with virtually any resin you choose.

Resin sensor

The SL1S SPEED offers a remarkable feature: pre-print resin level measurement. Prior to starting a print, the printer itself measures the resin level and provides guidance. It informs you whether there is sufficient resin for the upcoming print or if additional resin needs to be added. Additionally, it detects and alerts you if there is an excessive amount of resin in the vat, preventing any potential overflow that could harm the printer.
